5 Reasons We Love This Kitchen Sink

This sinkscape comes with the perfect dose of country cool.

It’s a little bit country, a little bit rustic-modern. But the star of Instagrammer Meg’s white-and-wood kitchen is the surprisingly sleek sink area (we call it a #sinkscape). Here’s why this kitchen sink does it for us.

1. The Window

The placement of the window (not to mention its size) makes doing the dishes a study of nature—rather than a study of a blank wall. Plus, the strategically placed swing set means chores and kid duty can happen at the same time.

2. The Sink

If apron sinks are wrong, we don’t want to be right. And it’s copper! And it’s hammered! It’s the little things, people.

3. The Faucet

We love how the curves of our Cassidy faucet offset the sink’s hard lines. But what makes it even better is the bold choice of the Venetian Bronze finish to avoid being matchy-matchy. Stainless + copper + bronze = stunning.

4. The Cake Stand

Liquid soap finds a picturesque perch. Where’s the rule that says you can only put cake on a cake stand? It pays to be a rebel.

5. The Pops of Personality

If your #sinkscape does anything, it should speak to who you are. This one does it with the details—the not-so-serious hand towel, those sunny flowers, the classic white pitcher. Did we mention the cake stand?
